Though I enjoy Herrick, these were not the selections I was hoping for. Nevertheless, the book is still a good read. Maybe the selections will appeal to you more.
I noticed that this was rated as one star. I read some of the reviews that claimed that there were no poems in this volume. I downloaded anyway because it was free, and there are definitely poems in there. It would seem as if someone has fixed the problem.
I have found many misleading things among marketed e-books, but I have never before found one where the version of the book simply did not include the content it promised. As all the other reviewers have pointed out, indeed, there are no poems in the electronic version of the book. It also appeared that the Table of Contents was static, not active, to take you to a poem. For some reason, outside the range of the sideboard table of contents, there IS an active table of contents above the static one. I tried clicking on a number of the poem titles, and it took me to the name of that poem in the static listing. It's almost as if the converters had constructed a shell for the poems, constructed an active T of C, and did not add the text of the poems. The electronic copy was done by a group of volunteers, and not , Mobil, or a publishing house such as Random House.

This is a good reason to pay attention to user reviews of editions. It's a shame that doesn't separate reviews of and paper copies.
I would give this Zero stars if I could. No poems, just the intro and the table of contents. Don't download. Don't download.
I also was unalbe to view any poems. I was able to view the preface and a list of poems but no actual verse.
After downloading this to my , I could not figure out how to open the poems to read them or to listen to them. I finally found the Table of Contents, but when I clicked on an underlined title, it took me to that title in very bold print, but it would not open. It didn't cost anything, but I guess you get what you pay for. If you figure out how to read the poems, let me know.
